Where do you file a company formation in Gia Lai?

Since 1 July 2025, under Nghị quyết 202/2025/QH15 (Resolution 202/2025), the former Bình Định and the former Gia Lai have been merged into a single province named Gia Lai, with its administrative centre in Quy Nhơn. Every company formation file in the new province, whether the head office is in Quy Nhơn, Pleiku, An Khê, An Nhơn, Hoài Nhơn or any other commune or ward, goes to one single point of contact.

The authority that receives files and issues the Giấy chứng nhận đăng ký doanh nghiệp (the enterprise registration certificate) is now the Phòng Doanh nghiệp và Kinh tế tập thể (the Enterprise and Collective Economy Division) at Sở Tài chính tỉnh Gia Lai (the provincial Department of Finance), at 181-183 Lê Hồng Phong, Phường Quy Nhơn, telephone 0256.3903666. The former Sở Kế hoạch và Đầu tư (the Department of Planning and Investment) no longer exists as an independent body; the business registration function has been transferred into Sở Tài chính.

The district tier ended on 1 July 2025 under clause 3 of article 51 of Luật Tổ chức chính quyền địa phương 72/2025/QH15 (the Law on Local Government); under Nghị quyết 1664/NQ-UBTVQH15 of 16 June 2025 the province has 135 commune-level units (110 xã and 25 phường) from 1 July 2025. Files therefore no longer go through the former districts such as Phù Cát, Tây Sơn, Vân Canh, Đức Cơ or Chư Sê, but directly or online to the provincial Department of Finance, uniformly across the whole of the new Gia Lai province.

What the file contains

You need only provide two sets of information for Tư Vấn Sao Việt to draft the complete file: first, the intended details, namely the company name, the head office address and the intended business lines; second, a copy of the identity card or passport, still in date, of the legal representative and of the contributing members or shareholders.

On the company name, the Vietnamese name must have two elements, the company form and the proper name: in CÔNG TY TNHH TƯ VẤN SAO VIỆT, 'TNHH' is the form and 'TƯ VẤN SAO VIỆT' is the proper name. The name must not duplicate or be confusingly similar to an enterprise registered anywhere in the country. You may also register a foreign-language name, translated from the Vietnamese into a Latin-alphabet language, and an abbreviation.
